Derar received BSc Clinical Pharmacy (University of Jordan), MSc Pharmaceutical Marketing Management (University of Huddersfield-UK), and PhD Clinical Pharmacotherapy (University of Manchester). He completed his clinical training in Infectious Diseases Pharmacotherapy at the Salford Royal Foundation Trust and Advanced Antimicrobial Stewardship from Stanford University. He currently works as an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Petra.
