As part of the Connecting Classrooms programme in Amman, the Connecting Classrooms Regional Forum happened in March, 2015 where three delegations from Jordan, the United Kingdom and Lebanon participated. The aim of the forum is for partnership schools to plan their activities for the school year.
Through the Regional Forum, visiting teachers from the United Kingdom, Jordan and Lebanon went to visit Al Zaatari Refugee Camp where they met with teachers and students at the camp. All teachers involved were able to develop their teaching skills and increase their awareness of teaching in different contexts. Al Zaatari teachers as well as students built relationships with the visiting teachers and all parties benefited from the Connecting Classrooms programme.
