All of our passionate and dedicated teachers meet the highest international standards with formal qualifications and extensive experience in teaching academic English and preparing students for exams such as IELTS.

Our minimum requirements for teachers are:

  • Education to degree level or equivalent qualification
  • A certificate level qualification in teaching English as a foreign language such as Cambridge University CELTA or Trinity College London CertTESOL
  • High proficiency in the use of the English language

Teacher - Scott Shelton-Strong

Scott Shelton-Strong

“I have taught lots of different course types, but I’m particularly interested in course design, materials development and English for academic purposes (EAP).”

Scott was born in the United States. He has Certificate (CTEFLA) and Diploma (DELTA) level qualifications in teaching English as a foreign language and recently completed an MA in TESOL.
He has taught English in Spain, the United States, New Zealand, Tunisia, Vietnam and Jordan and is an experienced IELTS and Cambridge ESOL examiner.

Teacher - Jessica Williams

Jessica Williams

“I have more than 3,000 hours’ experience of teaching exam preparation courses and English for academic purposes (EAP) so this is real area of expertise for me.”

Jessica was born in Kenya. She has a Certificate in Education, a CELTA, and an MA in Applied Linguistics. She is currently studying for a Diploma in English Language teaching to Adults (DELTA). 

She has taught in England, Hong Kong, Ethiopia and Jordan and she has worked as an IELTS examiner (Speaking and Writing) and Director of Studies.
